Up 'til Dawn is a student-led, student-run program hosted by colleges and universities nation-wide. Up 'til Dawn unites faculty, staff, students, the surrounding community and sponsors in a goal to help the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Currently over 75 college campuses participate in this program.

St. Jude is a local cause. Children and doctors benefit from the research and treatment programs at St. Jude. In fact, research findings are freely shared with doctors and scientists all over the world. It is the largest childhood cancer research center in the world in terms ofthe number of patients enrolled and successfully treated.

St. Jude understands the importance of family when a child is facing terminal illness. Target Corporation funded and built over 150 apartments for families to live in, free of charge, while children are undergoing treatment. In addition, St. Jude provides money for groceries and activities while the families are in Memphis.
